God's provision for Israel.

v1-2: The nation of Israel enjoyed a special place as the nation delivered by God from Egypt. The people of God became God's sanctuary, and was, or should have been, Him.

v3-8: The testimony of God through Israel; the sea and the river Jordan, mountains and little hills, all tremble at the presence of the Lord God, see Ps 29.5-9; 68.8. He works for the good of His own people.

The God who brought water from the rock has not lost His power.
