Bible Notes Online - Ezekiel 46 - ESV
Commentary

v1-4: The special authority given to David the Prince. He makes his offering, prepared by the priest, and has a special place where he worships God.

v5-8: Although the Prince has to enter and exit in particular places, he may offer as much grain offering as he wants, thus enjoying a measure of liberty in his offerings.

This may also indicate that the people were changed by meeting with God.It is presumptuous to expect to meet with God, and not expect to be changed.

v10: The Prince among the people, identifying with them.

v11-12: The Prince's offering.

v13-15: Regular offerings.

v16-18: The Prince has his sons, his servants, and his property.  The rules of inheritance provided that other people would not lose their inheritance.

v19-20: See 44.19; the people are restored, but need to be consecrated.

v21-24: Ezekiel was led around the temple, but this time saw no idolatry. Again, this is proof of the purifying work of God amongst His people. There is also a practicality, with a kitchen adjacent to the place of worship; this also indicates that the distinction between spiritual and physical is misplaced.
